The Escapists Review

If you are like me and have a great love for stealth games and games where you have to keep an eye on everything to make sure you don't get caught out then you will love this new game, currently in Alpha but it is available on Early Access on Steam and I highly recommend it.

The reason for this is because it goes back to the roots of a stealth game and if you have played games like The Great Escape or Prisoner of War, both amazing games in their own rights then you will feel right at home when you start playing this.

The retro, pixel art style does this game justice as it is funny and quirky. The dialog from the different characters while limited in the Alpha stage is pretty well written and funny considering there is no order to who will say what so anything can be said.

Your goal in this game is as you would imagine, to escape from which prison you have chosen to be sent to, whether it be the beginner one or the moderate one, I do believe there will be community prisons and a hard difficulty prison added in the future.

You will need to collect resources and items that will help you in your escape whether you are walking out the front door by collecting the keys, tunneling your way out underneath the prison with plastic forks and spoons. Or are you one of the more violent prisoners and attempt to take over the prison by beating up every guard either alone, or with allies. It is completely up to you and I would highly recommend trying every possible way to escape.

Anyway, this has been OniOfTaint and this has been my The Escapists review, hope you all have a good day and sayonara.
